The cost of producing video material depends on several factors, such as the time required for planning, the personnel required, the equipment used, and the amount of editing and other post-production work. Therefore, pricing is project-specific.

Good advance planning is key to achieving the desired outcome and controlling costs. The more precisely the customer's needs are known and the clearer the understanding of the desired end product, the better the implementation will generally be.

The price is also affected by the number of personnel involved – for example, whether the filming requires a director, multiple cameramen, separate sound recorders or other professionals. Good planning can often save costs, but sometimes a team of several professionals is necessary to achieve a professional result.

In addition, the filming equipment used has a significant impact on the price. Filming equipment rented from outside usually costs from one thousand euros upwards. Saimaa-film has comprehensive equipment for basic filming, which can be supplemented with rental equipment if necessary. For filming carried out with our own equipment, our equipment price is 100€ / day of filming.

Saimaa-film's headquarters are located in Sulkava, but we operate throughout the country. As for travel costs, the basic rule is that we travel within a 50km radius of Sulkava without additional costs. After this, we charge 0.3€ / km.
